Antony started working in the family silver business in Sheffield and London, he has also worked in jewellery retail in Switzerland and London. He currently he works in Hatton Garden in the jewellery supply business.
Vice-Chairman
Goldsmith, Silversmith and Designer. Grant started his workshop in 1969 and situated on Bankside London for the last 40 years. Grant holds a Royal Warrant of Appointment as Goldsmiths and Silversmiths to His Majesty King Charles III.
Charity Manager
Julie has worked in the jewellery industry for over 30 years, and is proud to be a Freeman of the Goldsmiths’ Company. Julie runs the day-to-day organisation of the Charity.

John spent 23 years with Garrard the Crown Jewellers, and 35 years running his own company specialising in major sport trophies. Now retired.

Clare is the Director of Finance at the Goldsmiths’ Company. She is a Chartered Accountant with over ten years experience working in the charity arts sector. She has particular interests in jewellery design and contemporary dance.

Founding Director (1987) Cox + Power Designer Jewellers, Marylebone, London, and Freeman of the Goldsmiths' Company. Interests include all contemporary design from architecture through print and graphics to jewellery.

Barrie is a familiar face to many, having been involved in the jewellery industry for almost 50 years, working as a Sales Director for International Bullion Brokers (IBB), Lawrence Blunt, Continental Jewellery and Euro Pearls. Barrie now enjoys being UK based working as a Non-Executive Director and on a consultancy basis. Barrie was proud to have been Chairman of the BJA (now NAJ) 2008/9 then became a Freeman of Goldsmiths’ Company and the City of London in 2009.

A renowned sculptural jeweller and educator. Melanie is also a director of The Association for Contemporary Jewellery, a Maker Trustee for the Crafts Council, and serves in an advisory capacity for a number of industry organisations both in the UK and abroad.

Kerry, Director of Gemmology Rocks. She has over 20 years experience in the jewellery and pawnbroking industry, and now runs her own Gemmology School and Industry Consulting business, and is an active member of the gemmological, jewellery, pawnbroking and valuing.

Zoe worked for Elizabeth Gage for 30 years running the business side of the company. Now retired.

Ben set up Pure Imagination Jewellers in 2013. Then in 2015, alongside this, he launched The Society of British Jewellers, with the aim to make it easy for knowledge and skills
to be shared within the industry. The Society now has an official membership offering benefits to those that join. Ben now works at the bench creating bespoke pieces of jewellery, and is a proud supporter of the Charity.

Ian has worked in the jewellery industry for 50 years as a coloured stone merchant and is a member of the Gemmological Association having served on their committee for many years. He has been proud to serve on the Council and Executive Committee of the Silversmiths Charity for over 40 years.

Director of Presman Mastermelt and Chairman of the Hatton Garden BID. Gary is an energetic and enthusiastic supporter of the Jewellery trade. He started his Jewellery career in 1972, as a sales representative for a small Jewellery wholesaler. Over the following years his roles have included 30 years as Sales Director of award winning, bridal manufacturer Brown & Newirth, ownership of retail Jewellery stores and Chairman of the British Jewellers’ Association. Gary originally initiated and sat on the unification committee, which eventually joined the two trade associations (NAJ & BJA) to become the National Jewellers’ Association.

Having joined the family gemstone business in 1988, Jason’s knowledge of the gemstone industry is unparalleled. Finding great satisfaction in sourcing stones for clients, Jason travels far and wide to purchase the finest quality-coloured gemstones. Whilst Jason manages two other businesses within the Williams family group his passion lies within the gemstone industry. Jason has previously spent 10 years as a charity trustee and served as Chairman of the Gemmological Association of Great Britain. Today he is still heavily involved within the sector, attending conferences around the world and guest lecturing for the GIA London, the NAJ and Gem-A.
